Ingredients:
- 300g pork belly
- 1 bell pepper
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp ginger
- 1 tbsp doubanjiang (fermented broad bean and chili paste)
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Shaoxing wine
- 1 tsp sugar
- Green onions for garnish
Instructions:
1. Slice the pork belly thinly.
2. Boil the pork in water for about 10 minutes until half-cooked. Drain and let cool.
3. Heat a pan, add sliced pork belly and render fat. Remove pork when slightly crispy.
4. In the same pan, sauté garlic, ginger, and doubanjiang until fragrant.
5. Add sliced bell pepper and onion. Stir-fry until tender.
6. Return pork to the pan. Add soy sauce, Shaoxing wine, and sugar. Mix well.
7. Garnish with green onions before serving.
