Once upon a time, Zhuo Wenjun became a widow and found herself in poverty without support. Her father, Zhuo Wangsun, was a wealthy merchant in Shu region. When he heard that his daughter wished to stand on her own feet, he disapproved of the idea. Undeterred, Wenjun set up a tavern at the market square in Linquon City, personally serving drinks to guests. Many curious visitors came to see her, admiring her elegance and intelligence. Thus, her reputation spread far and wide.
At this time, Sima Xiangru, who had traveled here for sightseeing, heard about the fame of Zhuo's tavern. He decided to visit it as well. Upon entering the tavern, he saw Wenjun acting gracefully and exuding charm. He immediately felt attracted to her. Wenjun also noticed that this man was extraordinary, so they talked happily.
